We are very aware that there is a need for proper training. It is similar to the road haulage sector, where there is a huge skill shortage in the farm contractor sector. One of the difficulties is that most of these farm contractors will not have a single farm payment or a farm number so they are not really farmers. We have some meetings arranged with Teagasc to try and bring up the fact that we need to get a training programme in place for tractor drivers in contractor fleets, a programme that is sustainable and that will ensure that all the issues of safety and driver alertness and awareness are brought to the fore. That is high on our list of priorities.
