Will the representatives of ConnectIreland confirm for us that two numbers given to us by the departmental officials in their presentation earlier in the meeting are correct? It was suggested the cost of a ConnectIreland-created job was approximately €4,000, whereas the cost of an IDA Ireland-created job was over €10,000. According to the Department, ConnectIreland claims to have created over 2,000 jobs, but the official figure from IDA Ireland suggests ConnectIreland has created just 535. Will the ConnectIreland officials clarify the position?
