This is to make it easier for motorists to compare pricing when purchasing insurance. We may see that in 15 months. There are very clear commitments on issues that potentially affect consumer rights. Why does it take 15 months to deal with them? This is not a contentious issue. There is no increase in paperwork for the insurance industry, they just have to process it five days earlier.
