EU State Aid Investigations into Tax Rulings (resumed)

It had to do with putting on a statutory footing the Office of the Revenue Commissioners. It was generally understood it would be treated as completely independent in its management of tax cases but that the political system might have something to say, for example, about the number of staff employed and the budget assigned to it. The legislation was to copperfasten what was understood.
