As Deputy David Cullinane knows, we are embarking on an engagement process with all stakeholders to try to inform ourselves and get a handle on the problem. We know that there have been some high profile disputes. Can the numbers of workers in the labour force who are actually impacted on by these practices which are being used by unscrupulous employers be quantified? If we had a handle on the numbers involved, it would help and go a long way towards informing us on the issue. The University of Limerick study shone a light on the detail needed.
