We are in public session. It is proposed that Schedule A, COM (2016) 750, proposal for the regulation of the definition and presentation of the labelling of spirit drinks and other foodstuffs and the protection of geographical indications of spirit drinks warrants further scrutiny.

It is further proposed that the committee issue a political contribution recommending the inclusion of an annex to the regulation, listing all geographical indications for spirit drinks as of the present date. Is that agreed? Agreed. We will now suspend the meeting for a few minutes to allow our witnesses to take their seats.
