Chapter 11 - Guardian Ad Litem Service
9:00 am
Mr. Fred McBride:
It has nothing to do with cost. That is currently the case. Judges throughout the country currently choose not to use guardians ad litemfor their own reasons. I was just commenting on the potential proposal within new legislation that there would be a presumption that a guardian ad litemor whatever we end up calling them would be appointed in every case unless the judge decides there are reasons not to do so. I was making a comparison with the opposite.
