Deputy Ó Cuív asked about the prevalence of the actions of the Department's organisations in the development process. It could be useful for us to have a map of the roads, planning applications, processes and level in which the Department is involved. The Department can be involved in the pre-planning process, after An Bord Pleanála gives advice or the it can make a determination in terms of the method statements and processes. I ask the witnesses to provide the committee with a colour-coded map, as it would enable members to know at exactly what level each interaction with the planning process has reached.
