Joint Oireachtas Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation
Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement: Discussion
4:00 pm
Maurice Quinlivan (Limerick City, Sinn Fein) | Oireachtas source
My party is opposed to the CETA trade deal, for a number of reasons. We have a motion that is working its way through the Dáil, and it is hoped we will discuss that in the Chamber shortly. I emphasise again the request I have made before that we invite other stakeholders to this committee to discuss CETA. These would include the trade union movement and the environmental sector.
