To conclude, it will be costly and unpredictable, it will result in a loss of sovereignty, it will be difficult and complex to introduce and, ultimately, it will put a huge hole in the Exchequer finances if it is implemented in anything like the way that is suggested. Is that a fair comment on both sides?
