As I understand it, no tender was agreed with a company for travel to Inis Mór. There is presently no contract with Inis Mór because the tenderer at the time agreed to provide the service without subsidy all-year around. Subsequently the difficulties arose because of a county council decision on fees. That is where the problem lies at the moment.
