I am considering tabling amendments to section 78 on Report Stage. Since the publication of the Bill, it has come to my attention that the wording of sections 78A and 78B are not in line with each other. There may also be a need for more clarity in the wording to ensure that the policy intention is given effect. I am seeking the advice of the Parliamentary Counsel on these points and as a result of those consultations I may propose amendments to address those issues.
