My point is that, in my view, NAMA should have made further inquiries in the circumstances. Taking account of the information it got, or even if it did not get an explanation that was satisfactory, other consequences might have flowed from that. I was not in the situation; I cannot say what it should have done. I am not taking a view as to whether it should have halted the process.
