I happened to be around for the floods in 2009 and 2016 and I have first-hand knowledge of what people went through. There is nothing worse for a person who has put his or her life into a business or for residents who have invested in their homes than being exposed to flooding. It is a akin to a property being broken into. In fact, in some ways it can be worse. I very much welcome what the Minister of State outlined. When does he expect the maps would be available and when does he expect public consultation to take place with the local residents of Castleconnell village and Montpelier?
