Dr. O'Shea makes the point that general practice needs an enhanced role in integrated care programmes and clinical care programmes. Is the problem at the level of the design and implementation of the programme? There was an issue a number of years ago where they were consultant led and consultant resourced. Has that not been addressed? What needs to happen now in terms of the structure of the programmes?
