In reply to that, members of NAMA who have retired are going to find it difficult to avoid serious scrutiny in the next couple of years.

On the issue of the €1 million, it was used in the Chamber by the Minister saying that we are moving the whistleblower operation to GSOC and we will give it an extra €1 million. Obviously, the €1 million is for GSOC’s general operation but I brought it up because it was used in the Chamber as an excuse for how it was going to be handled which did not seem great as a separate area.
