Does NAMA not have a different obligation? Does it not have a responsibility to the State that a normal open market seller does not have? For example, NAMA does not have to accept the highest bidder. If the purchaser wanted to go on holidays on the basis of his profits over the next 20 years, NAMA does not have to accept that given that there is a requirement, over which NAMA has some control, to deliver something to the State.
