HSE Report on Foster Home in Waterford Community Care Area: Discussion

12:00 pm

Mr. Pat Healy:

There were ten interactions in all before the final piece of the jigsaw, if I can put it that way, concluding the matter happened in the last few days. This was referred to and is referenced here. However, there was a significant amount of preparatory work because the apology was part of the publication of this and all that went with it. There was, therefore, a significant amount of work. In fairness, some of that work was undertaken by the current chief officer's predecessor who was acting in the role and was actually doubling up in the role at the time. There was a significant amount of work in preparing for that and getting all of that done.
