I agree with Senator Burke on that issue, because he is referring to a very good facility in Cork.

What are the plans for the spending of the extra budget allocation, particularly in regard to the Children First Act and aftercare? How are these to be resourced? Also, has Tusla developed its IT system? There are concerns among those on the ground regarding the central recruitment system and about how it is working. Has the issue of the number of unallocated cases been addressed? In regard to recruitment, are both experienced and new young social workers being employed? Finally, what are the plans in regard to the guardian ad litemservice?
