The Comptroller and Auditor General commented on the two anonymous letters and suggested they would seem to be by the same author. There was a certain repetition in style that would lead one to that conclusion. I have no knowledge of a third letter of allegation.

Like most public bodies nowadays and following the passage into legislation of the Protected Disclosures Act, we have a comprehensive protected disclosure policy which allows any individual to raise matters, either internally or externally, as they deem appropriate.
