Ms Oonagh McPhillips:
No, but the tribunal generally would be engaged with the applicant in respect of whatever medical arrangements or loss of earnings he or she had. Sometimes, in the case of serious injury, this can take some time to settle down and a number of years. Consequently, the tribunal would be engaged back and forth with legal representatives. I also should clarify the tribunal is not full-time. They all are barristers and solicitors in their own capacity who have their normal practices and do this on anad hocbasis. There are six members and a chairman.
