Before you continue your opening statement, Mr. Waters, I have to ask Deputy Dowds to chair the meeting. I have to leave for a few minutes. Perhaps the item we have just discussed could be taken up with officials from the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform when they are before the committee in terms of their role in this and the appointments.
