A red light goes on in my head when I hear the word "consensus". A point was raised by Ms Quigley and the hospital consultants. When we were in Portugal we met people working in front-line services. They said straight out that they could do with more services. At the same time, they had services and they were impressive.

Another point was made about independent research. The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality will always make decisions based on quality research and independent assessment.

We are interested not in good press, but in what works on the ground. It is important to say that.

Mr. Roe's submission hit the nail on the head in relation to young people and LGBT. He mentioned a figure that I need to ask him about. Did he say drug addiction was two and a half times higher among the LGBT community than the rest of society?
