As we can now commence our public hearings with Mr. Alan Gray, former board member of Central Bank of Ireland, the Committee of Inquiry into the Banking Crisis is now resuming in public session. Our first hearing of this afternoon is with Mr. Alan Gray, former non-executive director, Central Bank of Ireland. Alan Gray has worked as an economist for over 30 years in Ireland, Europe and in Canada. He was a non-executive director of CBFSAI, that is, the Central Bank, from December 2006 to September 2008 and was ... and recently he has been appointed by the Government as director of the IDA. He is a managing partner of Indecon International Economic Consultants. Mr. Gray, you're very welcome before the committee this afternoon.
