Our focus today is on the Irish Nationwide Building Society and we continue our hearings this evening with Mr. John Stanley Purcell, former finance director and secretary of INBS. Mr. Purcell joined Irish Nationwide as financial controller in 1986. He was appointed secretary of INBS in May 1999 and was appointed to the board of INBS in December 1994 as an executive director. He is now retired. Mr. Purcell, you are very welcome before the committee this evening.
