I think in light of the advices which were presented and the discussion, there would have been strong concern that if one moved to buy a day or two, that that was money that would be burnt, in the context of the immediate issue but also that the prospect then of taking effective, decisive action would be diminished. So it wasn't seen as a viable alternative.
