Can I turn now to the issue of the legislation surrounding financial regulation? There was an initial proposal in 2005 for a modernisation and simplification of the legislation which was announced in 2006 to bring all the legislation for different ... the different financial industries within the same regulatory framework. Can you outline for the inquiry what happened to these efforts during your tenure as Taoiseach?
