I welcome the Minister, Deputy James Reilly, who is an ex officiomember of the committee. I also welcome Mr. Dan Kelleher and Ms Mary Johnson, the officials accompanying the Minister. I thank the Minister for being present. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the Children (Amendment) Bill 2015, which was referred to the committee by the Seanad on 24 June. We will have the quarterly meeting with the Minister at 12.15 p.m.
