I move amendment No. 288:

In page 69, to delete lines 30 to 33 and substitute the following:"(5) The numbers and grades of staff to be appointed under this section and the conditions (including those relating to remuneration and allowances) of their appointment shall be determined by the Courts Service with the approval of the Minister given with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.".

There is very little to discuss here. It is easy to understand this amendment, which proposes that the "numbers and grades of staff" will be "determined by the Courts Service with the approval of the Minister [and] the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform".
