We have estimates that since 2009, the fraction of a typical household disposable income needed to cover the cost of a newly built family home has gone from 25% to 40% and that in the same period, 2009 to 2014, the price of a three-bedroom semi-detached house rose by almost a third. You know, does the construction industry have a problem with, you know, the burdens it's imposing on people buying houses and borrowing excessively so to do?
