Overview of the Banking Sector in Ireland (Resumed): Permanent TSB

I am aware of a number of cases in Clare - the place I know best - where Permanent TSB has pursued mortgage holders who are engaging fully and are even paying their mortgage fully. Two or three years ago for a period of 12 months or two years these people were not in a position to pay the mortgage. However, they subsequently re-engaged, got a job and started paying their mortgage in full. Now, they find themselves with legal debts on top of everything else. How on earth does it make sense to clog up the courts and waste the bank's time? No county register is going to give the bank an order in a case where people are engaging and paying a mortgage in full. What is Permanent TSB doing?
