I welcome Mr. Owens and Dr. Surminski and I thank them both for their time and opening statements. I would like to discuss the situation in Cork with Mr. Owens as the best case study in the country of an area prone to flooding. The city has experienced devastating floods, particularly in 2009, with a number of events since then. Do many businesses in the city not have flood insurance cover following these recent events? What risk do they face if there is another flood event next winter, for example?
