There is a precedent for such action in the case of British Airways and BMI that preserves those interline agreements. As I stated earlier, some lessons can be learned from that experience to ensure that a remedy is more effective this time around. It is correct that the interline agreement will go away in any useful form if there is no remedy to it and the transaction proceeds.
