I welcome Mr. O'Regan and Mr. Doorly. Mr. O'Regan has made much about having contrarian views in the newspaper. Morgan Kelly's piece is seen as the defining article. Senator O'Keeffe referenced an article in Vanity Fairin 2011 which indicated that Morgan Kelly sent his piece to the Irish Independent, but the newspaper's editor wrote back to him stating that he found the article offensive and that it would not be published.
