How this works in practice is the editor has his daily conferences with his team and he goes through the news agenda and they select whatever it might be that will make up the newspaper the next day. There is no commercial involvement whatsoever. There never has been. I am in the company more than 20 years. I have never attended nor has anyone else in the commercial side ever attended these conferences. They are the domain of the editor and they are completely separate from the commercial side. The answer to the Deputy's question would be a categorical "No." I am surprised it is even asked, but there you go.
