I want to come back to that point which links to the discussion earlier which is that link between politics and banking and how the closeness in that relationship influences the willingness of a government of the day to intervene in a bailout. How do we guard against that? In this country, we have banned corporate donations to which Professor Kane referred in his opening statement. How does one guard against improper access to political elites?
