Professor Honohan's report paints a picture of the time. On page 119, Professor Honohan lists the dividends that were paid by the main banks in the first nine months of 2008, amounting to €1.25 billion. It includes dividends of €270 million on 26 September 2008. Four days before the guarantee was put in place they were paying out €270 million. Does Professor Honohan have any comment or observation on that?
