It is following on from Deputy McGrath's question, which was about the regulatory framework and the fact that the Department of Finance does have a regulatory aspect to it in that it can put in place taxation policies that influence behaviour in the market. How does Mr. Wright think the banks themselves viewed the broader regulatory structure, whether it was the Central Bank, the regulator's office or the Department of Finance?
