Public Accounts Committee

National Asset Management Agency Financial Statements 2013

12:10 pm

Mr. Brendan McDonagh:

No. I am very fortunate in that there are very good people working for me and the board. They are very committed to doing the right thing to get rid of this burden for the taxpayer. The evidence - in terms of the financial figures - shows that people in the organisation are shouldering the responsibility and that they almost take an obligation on themselves to adopt a very good professional ethic while working for NAMA. The staff have been tremendous and, despite all of the constraints, want to improve the economy. I have been very fortunate in the people I have working for me.
