National Asset Management Agency Financial Statements 2013

Mr. Brendan McDonagh:

The liquidation of IBRC forced us to get even more involved with banks. We have in the region of 560 smaller debtors as of today. We have a deep involvement with approximately 400 of those because they were former customers of IBRC. We have also just recently moved to take over the Bank of Ireland portfolio directly. We have approximately 160 small debtors who are still with AIB. We have a team dedicated to working with those debtors and our plan is to become more actively involved in those AIB cases in 2015. We are five years on now and we need to find solutions. We need to determine if something can be done that resolves the difficulties for both sides on a commercial basis.
