We have a recurring apology for our Thursday morning meeting from Senator MacSharry who has become part of the banking inquiry.

Under EU legislative proposals and scrutiny, we had a discussion in our private session on COM (2014) 362. Deputy Ó Caoláin has requested further information on this and it is agreed that we will ask our EU policy clerk to provide further information and an advice note with respect to this proposal. I thank the clerk for her assistance to the committee during the course of this year and wish her a very happy Christmas.
