I appreciate that. The point I am trying to get to is the six covered institutions entered into a guaranteed acceptance deed on 24 October, which is about three and a half weeks between the announcement of the guarantee and the guarantee itself. Mr. Nyberg mentioned that buying time - a weekend or a number of days - would not have been an idle exercise.

The announcement of the guarantee gave succour to the markets and allowed the financial institutions to remain open. Was there scope for the types of options Mr. Nyberg outlined in his report to have been examined in the intervening period before the introduction of the guarantee?
