This will not be the last time the Senator and I discuss this issue, and she is aware that we have put a national co-ordinator in place for child and adolescent mental health services. We took the latter step on foot of additional information and I am of the view that it will pay dividends. Most people might not consider this to be a front-line post but I am of the view that it is vitally important that there should be such a co-ordinator. Sometimes it is as much about the structure used to deliver a service as it is about the service itself.

As a result of what has been said at this meeting and in the interests of doing something more positive, I will consider reinstating the monitoring report. I am of the view that it is time this was done.
