While I agree with the point being made by Deputy Tóibín, what he is suggesting would be exceptionally difficult to prove. Other than when there is an ERA or defined payment for all, it is often the case in a particular type of employment that people might be on different wages. Proving that a complainant should be on the comparable wage chosen would be very difficult to do.
