We will deal first with the proposals listed in Schedule B. It is proposed that these proposals do not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

We will now deal with the items in Schedule A. COM (2014) 15 is a communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions on a policy framework for climate and energy in the period 2020-30. It is proposed that this communication warrants further scrutiny. It is proposed, therefore, to write to the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources requesting an update on negotiations and whether the areas of concern for Ireland are being addressed. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2014) 111 is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council setting up a Union system for supply chain due diligence self-certification of responsible importers of tin, tantalum and tungsten, their ores and gold originating in conflict affected and high risk areas. It is proposed to write to the lead Department asking how this proposal compares to the OECD guidelines and if it goes far enough in addressing the issue. Is that agreed?
