I am aware of a school that has applied for the summer work scheme to replace windows and doors for insulation effectively. In the cold of winter it is costing the school €1,000 on oil each week. What engagement does SEAI have with schools? Schools claim if they could install double-glazing or whatever it is, they would have the money saved in a very short period.

What engagement or advice does the agency give to the Department of Education and Skills on the provision of grants to schools for projects related to energy saving?
