In this Bill, we want to make it easy and more accessible for persons, be they farmers, Coillte or whoever, to be involved in forestry and also to put it on a statutory footing as something that will be amenable for the sector. We have consulted widely and at length on this Bill, from the farming organisations to everybody involved in the sector, over a long period of time and we have endeavoured to make as many changes as we possibly could in relation to the Bill.
