Did the investigation or any subsequent or previous reflection done by the Garda Síochána on this issue include a broader approach of talking to and engaging with members of the force to get their sense of the issue? This could include doing an anonymous survey or having a place where people could submit their thoughts or feedback on the allegations that have been made. This would be a way to facilitate the process without identifying themselves. Was a broader approach taken as part of the investigation to try to get a better sense of the culture and attitude in the force? Much of this is unprovable if one does not have any documentation. In a system that allows for decision making to go unaccounted for in some regards, the only way one will find out is if one does a much broader testing of members of the force.
