As I have checked my records, I know precisely what people used the system. There is a Protected Disclosures Bill and the Garda Síochána is included in it. Perhaps that will refine, update and improve the situation. I fully support the system and its integrity and no one will hear, from me or my officers, the identities of the people who come forward on a confidential basis. If they choose to go public of their own volition, that is a matter for themselves, but then they are stepping outside the system and it is a different matter.
