Of 800 debtors involved with the agency, a remarkably high number of them write to me personally when they have a complaint about a case manager. The Deputy’s constituents who have complaints about NAMA are more than welcome to write to myself or the chairman. We will look into the cases. We are not post boxes, passing it on to someone else. Everyone who works in the agency knows I am on the floor, at people’s desks finding out what is going on. The chairman is also that type of person too. Sometimes, there are genuine grievances. Other times, there are cases of people wanting to hold on to their asset but we telling them this is the time to sell it.
